STEP 1: Pre-Requisite for Customers

Facebook Account
Mobile number (Not used in WhatsApp)

STEP 2: Developers on Boarding Steps

a. Take User id and Password for Facebook account or connect on any desk and open Facebook account. (If it does not exist then make a new account with their branding)

b. Register for developer on Facebook (for WhatsApp enable)

Open https://developers.facebook.com/ and follow the steps

c. Enable two-factor authentication for your account

Go to Setting and privacy > Settings

d. Create a Meta App:

Go to developers.facebook.com > My Apps > Create App. Select the "Business" type and follow the prompts on your screen. Link
Once you have completed the app creation flow your app will be loaded in the App Dashboard.
Select the WhatsApp application and follow the steps.
Once you have completed the WhatsApp application process a test environment is created.

Your App is ready after following the steps, The App name given is TEST, you can see WhatsApp on the of the screenshot below>>

e. Add a phone number (Mobile)

Go to App Dashboard => Getting started (in left menu) => Add phone number (right side) then follows the steps
After the process it will create a Phone number ID.

f. Message templates

Go to App Dashboard => WhatsApp => Getting started (in left menu) => Send messages with the API
Template Link ( 1 or 2 business days to approval)

g. Generate Permanent Token

h. Add payment details (add credit card details for billing)

Go to App Dashboard > WhatsApp > Configuration. Under Phone numbers, click Manage phone numbers. This leads you to your Business Manager account, where you can click Add Payment Method to add your credit card.

After all processes we need Phone number ID, and Permanent Token for API calls and it will update in QDC software configuration.
