What's new in Version 18.8.9.4 launched in Aug 2018

MOBILE POS:
Fasten your seat belt!
We are here with the next update for Mobile POS, a lot of feedback have been collected from beta users,
most of them have found a path directly into this release. Following is the long list of improvements/ bug fixes/ new features
you have been waiting for!

Assignment workflow
  1. Drop off assignment notification- User/ delivery agent will receive a notification if a drop/ pick off has been assigned to him.

Order generation workflow
  1. Remarks - Option to save remarks for the order.
  2. Order confirmation - A summary page will be displayed after order completion.
  3. Display top-up services: When we add TOP UP’s from the Customise option it will display the number of top-up services too in cards.
  4. Max quantity allowed- While creating an order, the garment quantity will only accept a 5-digit figure.
  5. Search order - New option to search an order directly from the side menu is added.
  6. Activate/ Inactivate garments - Availability of garments in order generation can be controlled from the Store Module.
  7. Accept partial payments: Partial payment can be accepted from the delivery workflow, just like Store Module.
  8. Accepting payment up to two decimal digits: We can accept payment in up to two decimals and round off both
  9. Holiday Offset - While creating an order, the delivery date will automatically adjust if it falls on a holiday.
  10. Tax Calculation - Tax will be calculated on the delivery screen just like the Store Module and the user can set the tax as Inclusive / Exclusive from the Store Module.
  11. Garment Count - While creating an order now you can properly see the count of the order items on the cart icon.

Customer workflow
  1. Customer salutation - Validation added to not save Null value, a customer without selecting customer salutation can be saved.
  2. Customer screen improvement - A new mechanism is implemented to store customer data in mobile local storage, resulting in speed improvement.
  3. Round off issue: Due amount in the customer summary will be the same as rounded off / decimal as in software.
  4. Mobile number length limitation - it will be customizable and depends on the country.
  5. Discount Restriction - While creating or updating customer data, the discount field is restricted to a 2-digit figure.
  6. Email and Mobile Mandatory - User can configure whether the mobile number and email id should be mandatory or not from Store Module.
  7. Pin Code Validation - While creating/updating customer Pin Code field will only accept numbers up to 10 digits.
  8. Notify Customer - The user can notify the customer to send the SMS / notification on the customer mobile app for request.
  9. Customer creation flow - After new customer creation user will be redirected to customer landing page where he can see the customer details or schedule pick up or create a new order.
  10. Edit Customer - The user can edit the customer details from the customer landing page.

Delivery workflow
  1. If the due balance of an order is 0, it will be redirected to the delivery screen rather than going for payment.

Multiple Store Support
  1. Users can see all orders from all stores of a particular customer and orders from other stores will be the disabled state which can't be selected for payment or delivery.

Others
  1. Packaging details can be seen on the order summary screen.
  2. On the pick-up screen, if there are no pick-up slots left for the day, the user can select from the next day's available slots.

Better Experience
  1. Bug fixes and other under the hood improvements for a hassle-free experience.
  2. No Internet Message - If your mobile phone is not connected to the internet it will show a message of "No Internet Connection".
  3. Crash issue - We have sorted out the "Some error occurred" message which comes randomly on various screens.
