Happy Diwali
Deepavali marks the victory of good over evil, It is the festivals of light colors and sweets. With this auspicious occasion comes a bunch full of happiness, prosperity, and hope.
As we start celebrating this Diwali here are the fireworks from QDC Team, we are ready with one more software update with lots of new features to make your life easier.
Here is a sneak peek of what’s new:
Super Admin
We are constantly working towards making SUPER ADMIN core to manage and operate multiple stores from one single unified location. Following new features have been added:
- Users: We always believe one size never fits all, that’s why we have created customized roles. Any organizational hierarchy can be mapped with roles, along with custom roles following are predefined roles available:

|
Can create and deliver an order, accept payments, and view reports related to day to day operations. Can't make configuration or team management changes.

Store Incharge
| Can manage orders and delivery (including edit and cancel), discounts, payment adjustments and manage the drivers location. Can't make configuration or team management changes.

Manager
| Can do everything except for Team Management.
|
Administrator
| Have unrestricted access to all feature/ module in store.

Finance
| Have access to complete accounting features (tax reports, account receivable, expenses, income and other financial reports)
|
Mobile POS
| Allow full access to Mobile POS, can manage customers, orders, and pick up.
|
Call center/ support
| Can manage pick up schedule and check the status of orders.
|
Workshop operator
| Can receive and send garments, print stickers and generate workshop notes. Can't do team management and configuration changes.
|
Workshop admin
| Unrestricted access to all views in the workshop.

Super Admin
| Owner of organisation. |
- Permissions: Control user permissions to a granular level, create any no of roles, and control action these roles can perform. We have also reorganized special access permissions for easy manipulation.
How to use
To test drive new user controls Login to Super Admin, Go to Admin Menu -> Users and Permissions.
Store POS
Laundry Order Mechanism
Over a period of time, we have seen Laundry and Dry Cleaning both verticals converging into one. By keeping this market trend in mind, Weight Based Order generation screen will be the part of standard QDC product, it will be available to everyone without any cost.
How to use
Log in to store, then search a customer from the home screen, click on the new button “Create Order Per Weight”.
You can also easily add details about the garments. While creating a weight base order -> Click on the garment details -> Double Click on the desired garment and add quantity.
Shortcut keys on order generation screen
We have added keyboard shortcuts on the order generation screen
ALT+ D for defects,
ALT+ C for colors,
ALT + B for Brands and
ALT + T for top-up services.
Invoice and payment link in SMS
Automatically send an order invoice via SMS and a link to collect payments.
Launch of QDC CHAT - Easy, Faster, and effective way for Support
Hassle-free live chat for customer support to activate a support session click on the CHAT icon on the Home page after login.
Launch of QDC Marketplace (SMS, Ribbon, Taffeta, and many more to come)
We have launched QDC Marketplace, currently, you can buy SMS, Ribbon, Taffeta, and stationary stand within QDC, in the future we will enhance it with more products.
How to use
Log in to store, then go to Admin Menu -> QDC Marketplace
Payment Gateways
More options to collect payments from customers, we have added the following options

- Paypal
- Telr (Middle East)

Login to store, then go to Admin -> Payment Gateway setup
Country-based mobile number validation
Specify your country and QDC will validate the customer phone numbers automatically.
How to set up
Login into software Go to Admin -> Set up -> Store information -> choose your country and then click on update.
Schedule pickup/ dropoff up-to 30 days
We have extended the pickup / Dropoff scheduling duration. From now onwards you can schedule pick up/ drop off up to 30 days.
New option for wet strength paper tags
Wet strength tags are popular now, we have added a new format
How to use it
Login into software Go to Admin -> Bar code configurator -> click the checkbox for wet-strength paper select your tag format.
Reports Enhancement
Sales and Delivery
- Integrated new payment gateways for effective payment reconciliation.
- Now it takes less time to load.
Order Report - Service column in excel export
If you export the order report to excel we have added a selected service column in it.
Go to Reports -> Orders -> Export to excel (You will see an additional column for services.)
Workshop inventory report
From this release onwards, the workshop inventory report shows all the garments that are sent for the workshop in one place. You can click the Donut chart on the dashboard page.
mPos/ Runner App
We have enhanced the Runner app as per the feedback, following are the new changes:
- Laundry Orders: Create laundry orders directly from the app.
- Search Garment: Search for garments in mPos app for fast and easy orders
- Complete Pickup: Complete a pickup without creating an order, if required.
- Customer mobile number validation: Configure your country in-store and we will validate customers mobile no (length)
Customer On-Demand App
We are witnessing one more wave towards the mobile economy, we have some nice surprise planned for the Customer On-Demand App. To be ready for a future change we have completely rewritten mobile apps to provide better Custom White Labeled APP and also added support for the latest Android Pie version.
